On Sunday evening, November 27, our 3rd service ensemble is putting together a special service for the first Sunday of Advent. The music that evening will be traditional bluegrass-inspired gospel. Our amazing and talented team will be joined by a couple of guest musicians for the night. Marty Rifkin has played the Dobro (steel guitar) in recordings by Bruce Springsteen, Glen Campbell, LeAnn Rimes and many others. John Rosen (banjo) has taught at McCabe’s Guitar Shop in Santa Monica for many years, and played with Old Man Markley and the Dropkick Murphys among others. You won’t want to miss it!
