The spring project for the RHUMC Missions committee is to help support our local organization HungryToHelpca.org by collecting hygiene supplies and monetary donations to help purchase portable showers for those who are homeless. We received the letter below from their director Ana, which includes their plans for establishing a place for portable showers. They are always creating ways to bring dignity to the houseless families in San Pedro.
We will be collecting hygiene donations (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, feminine products, etc.) through the end of May. You can drop off supplies to the church office or if you would like to make a monetary donation either online or by check, please include Hungry to Help in the memo. God’s love in action!
