Take a Walk, Send a Photo!
Please join in RHUMC’s Lenten Pilgrimage. We are acting independently, but toward the same goal of expressing solidarity with Jesus on his journey to the cross. Here’s how to participate:
1. Enjoy a walk in your neighborhood, as short or long as you would like.
2. Snap a photo of yourself or your walking buddy.
3. Sometime before, during, or after your walk, offer a prayer for your community and your neighbors. It could go something like this: Holy God, bless this neighborhood and all who dwell here with your compassion and grace. Cause life and hope to flourish, even in the midst of difficult or confusing times. Open our hearts and minds to understand the path you are walking. Amen.
4. As soon as you are back inside, send your photo to churchoffice@rhumc.org — we are eager to include your photo in a Palm Sunday worship slideshow.
Thank you for taking part in this act of love. The sooner you send your photo the better. March 22 is the outside limit. We will all be glad to get glimpses of one another.
