Trio Zadig was scheduled to return to the iPalpiti Festival as soloists in Beethoven’s Triple Concerto at Walt Disney Concert Hall on July 22, and also to perform a chamber music concert at RHUMC on Sunday, July 19 as part of the Church’s popular annual participation in the summer Festival. All of iPalpiti Festival’s live-audience concerts have been cancelled and are replaced by streamed offerings over the internet.
As Artists-in-Residence of the famed Fondation Singer-Polignac, Trio Zadig graciously recorded its RHUMC concert at the mansion in the heart of Paris to be streamed at the originally scheduled concert time.
The Program
Dvořák’s Dumky Trio and Tchaikovsky’s The Seasons.
Awarded 11 international prizes, the Trio Zadig captivates audiences with its virtuosity, elegance, and irresistible enthusiasm. Boris Borgolotto and Marc Girard Garcia are childhood friends who studied together at the Paris Conservatoire National de Musique and at the University of Music in Vienna. Upon their return to France, they crossed paths with Ian Barber, an American pianist from the renowned studio of André Watts at the University of Indiana.
