Welcome to Summer Camp
Create your own camp!
Summer is fun and flexible and your camp should be too! At Kid Zone, we invite you and your child to create your OWN camp experience. Choices we provide:
- Flexible Schedules: full day, 3/4 day, 1/2 day, early care and extended care
- Fun-centered , high quality curriculum
- Rotating class schedule

Workshops fill up fast and space is limited. If your class is full at the time of registration, then we will place your child in an open class.

What to bring and wear to camp:
- Sunscreen
- Wear close toe shoes
- Lunch (if staying all day) – Please, no food to warm up
- Bathing suit and towel (if staying through lunch)

Kid Zone Summer Camp Class Descriptions
Cooking: Enjoy making North American cuisines like poutine, hamburgers, and tacos, just to name a few.
Sports: Become active in North America’s favorite known sports: football, baseball, and hockey.
Art: Discover the styles of North American Artists like Georgia O’Keeffe, Jackson Pollock, Frida Kahol, Diego Rivera, and Ted Harrison.
Science: Explore the scientific discoveries from Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, and George Washington Carver.
Performing Arts: Campers will learn and recreate some of their favorite North American Folklore.
We travel to the continent most famous for its rainforests, the Andes Mountains, and Machu picchu.
Art: Learn about these famous artists: Joaquin Torres Garcia, Tarsila do Amaral, Luis Felipe Noe, and more.
Cooking: Learn how to make empanadas (Argentina), Feijoada (black been stew, Brazil), and dulce de Leche (Argentina/Uruguay).
Performing Arts: Campers will recreate some of the Festivals in South America: Carnaval, Semana Santa, and inti Raymi.
Science: discover how the rainforest impacts all different areas of science from ecology to medicine.
Sports: Learn about volleyball, rugby, and soccer, some of the major sports activties in South American Culture.
Join us on a safari through Africa learning about the pyramids, the Nile, and Sahara desert.
Art: Irma Stern, Cheri Samba, Abdoulaye Konate, and many more.
Cooking: enjoy the taste of Africa with these dishes: Jollof Rice (West Africa), Mandazi (east Africa), and Couscous.
Performing Arts: Campers will learn about different dances and music that originated in different regions of Africa.
Science: Learn about the different climates in Africa and how the pyramids of Egypt were formed.
Sports: Get active with sports like cricket, relay races, and other games children from Africa play.
Campers will travel and learn about Antarctica, one of the most mysterious places on our planet.
Art: We will make our own ice sculptures, igloos, and totem poles.
Cooking: Make you own homemade ice cream sundaes, penguin shaped bananas, and more.
Performing Arts: Campers will be able to create and make their own dance moves, like the penguins from Happy Feet.
Science: Learn how sea creatures keep warm in extreme temperatures and how icebergs are formed.
Sports: Campers will play games like life size Hungry Hungry polar Bears, and swim like penguins in our version of iceberg Block.
Time to explore the Outback of Australia, New Zealand, and Indonesia.
Art: Recreate aboriginal art from Australia, learn about the Kamasan Style from Bali, and Maori Art style from New Zealand.
Cooking: Make Anzac Biscuits, Sausage Rolls, and Fish and Chips.
Performing Arts: Campers will be able to design and create their own version of Finding Nemo.
Science: discover how the boomerang and didgeridoo works, and how desert animals can keep cool in the Outback.
Sports: play games like sharks and minnows, eld hockey, and body surfng down a Slip N Slide.
We will be exploring one of the largest land regions famous for the Great Wall of China, the Himalayas, and Gobi desert.
Art: Learn how to make origami, paint a cherry blossom, and the art style of Rangoli (sand art from India).
Cooking: Campers will get the chance to make curry, fried rice, sushi, and more.
Performing Arts: We will create our very own Shadow play.
Science: Learn about the science behind kites and how to make paper.
Sports: Campers will learn traditional games like Tug of War, Bamboo pole dance, Tang-Te (hop scotch), and archery.
We will be exploring the famous landmarks of Europe like the Colosseum, the Eiffel Tower, and the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Art: explore different art styles from artists across europe, like Wassily Kandinsky, Pablo Picasso, and Vincent van Gogh.
Cooking: Homemade pretzels, italian pizza, doner kebabs, and much more
Performing Arts: Campers will recreate some of their favorite fairy tales from European Countries.
Science: Learn about Leonardo da Vinci, one of Europe’s most famous scientists.
Sports: We will be hosting our very own version of the Highland games and Gladiator games.
Makers Fun Factory
Put on your thinking caps and get ready to build a better relationship with God. This week is for ages 3 years old to entering 5th grade.
We are always looking for volunteers too. Campers will learn about God and his teachings through:
- Fun activities and games
- Bible Study
- Arts and Crafts
- Songs and dancing
