Our gospel for this Sunday portrays a picture of the whole human family brought together at the end of time. The Son of Man, the Messiah, sits before them on his throne in judgement. He separates the people into two groups, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats, the righteous from the unrighteous. It turns out that both are in for a surprise. The text for Jonathan’s sermon is Matthew 25:31-46, and his title is “Unseen.”
Of course don’t forget Taco Night after 3rd service. All you can eat chicken, steak and pork tacos, rice and beans, chips and salsa, all for the suggested donation of $5/person or $15/family. We hope you can come and stay a while, since by then you’ll have had all the turkey you can eat!
See you at church!
